Sharks Ice Learn to Skate Class Lessons proudly sponsored by
Sharks Ice at Fremont offers a wide variety of skating programs for all ages and ability levels. Our group lessons are structured to teach beginning skaters through more advanced skaters. Group instruction includes a thirty-minute class, thirty minute supervised practice the same day, class certificate and achievement badge. All classes are taught in a 12-week period and are held on Tuesday, Friday or Saturday depending on the class.
To maximize your enjoyment in the sport, we recommend following the class progression below. This progression insures that skaters have the necessary skills to succeed at higher levels. Skaters can get more information on or register online for each class listed below by simply clicking on the class title. Online registrations use credit cards only. Registrations using checks or cash can be made at the rink anytime.

Freestyle Sessions
Sharks Ice at Fremont offers freestyle sessions from 6-9AM Mon.-Fri. and 6:15-7:45am Sat. These times are reserved for the serious competitive skater to develop their skills, choreograph and polish programs. To reserve a specific session contact the Sharks Ice at Fremont.
Synchronized Skating
Synchronize skating involves a team of eight or more skaters performing different maneuvers and formations to music. Skating on a team is a great alternative to individual competitive skating. Sharks Ice at Fremont is the home of the Golden State Junior Youth, Junior and Teen Synchronize Teams.
Adult Classes
Tuesday afternoon adult classes offer beginner and intermediate levels. The Tuesday afternoon adult session is included with the purchase of a lesson series. This is a very nice social event that provides time for the new adult skater to make new friends and the regular skater a time to "catch up" with old acquaintances.
Cost
The cost for classes ranges from $156.00 to $168.00 per person. If you need skates we offer a 12-week rental for only $35.00. Plus, every second family member to sign up for a class will receive a 10% discount on their class cost (does not include discount on ISI registration or skate rental.) Sharks Ice does not offer refunds or makeup classes.
